We are looking for a young new graduate for a 6-month internship in the Group’s Procurement Department in Milan (HQ), starting from February/March 2019.

The internship will be carried out under the guidance of a Company Tutor, and will focus on the following activities:

  • Market scouting activities of products and services in international and national markets based on Business Lines requirements and needs;
  • Supporting  Country analysis activities, based on the Company’s Strategic Plan (economic and political environment, supply chain, foreign investments attractiveness);
  • Supporting our Procurement Commodity Managers in developing and implementing strategic sourcing, in terms of market understanding, expected future trends and structured suppliers baseline;
  • Supporting reporting activities related to the Market Intelligence area and Vendor Management in general;
  • Participating in corporate development projects related to market intelligence.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • University Degree in Management, Building or Civil Engineering;
  • Fluent English;
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word); the knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus;
  • Excellent analytical and methodological skills, ability to prioritize and work towards the deadlines:

Job description
Scope and Purpose: We offer a 24 months tailor made cross-country rotational development program. This Program is designed to develop well prepared professionals with broader knowledges of financial sector, such as M&A or Private Equity or Structured Finance and Corporate Debt Restructuring. After these months they will be part of the Chief Lending Office of Intesa Sanpaolo and they will have the mission to perform business, credit and risk analysis.
The structure of the Program is 4 rotations of 6 months, it includes:
• Technical training/Banking Foundation
• Behavioural training
• Sponsorship
• Tutorship

Selection: October – December 2018
Duration of the Program: 2019 – 2021

Required profile
Experience Required. Please note that for this selection will be considered only:
– candidates with a grade up to 105/110 L or equivalent
– candidates who no longer have to attend classes and will graduate not later than May/June
– Italian fluency is not a mandatory requirement.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support master data definition and registration in the systems within the assigned area of responsibility, respecting Corporate Data Quality guidelines, in order to ensure data completeness, reliability and quality in all Company database and tools
  • Input, update and manage into the relevant database all master data for use in product development, operations, sales, marketing processes, as well as in administration and controlling reporting.
  • Support the data owners in collecting and structuring master data respecting data classifications and codification rules, according to Data Quality guidelines
  • Promptly update technical master data if required (changes in products/raw materials/components, processes, company procedures, regulations) (where applicable)
  • Support periodic check on master data and product lifecycle in order to ensure quality, completeness and reliability of all information registered in the systems
  • Support for all activities relevant to master data
  • Support and participate in business/IT projects to identify impacts on master data and follow up the implementation of changes in master data management processes and in the master data system database
  • Participate in IT projects to develop/implement other systems and tools in order to boost master data management evolution.
