For our office in Rome, we are currently looking for 2-3 motivated interns for a six-month internship experience (starting from late September / October 2019) to support our Operations and Governance Teams. In this internship, the interns will be involved in day-to-day business activities: new and ongoing current Operations and Governance projects.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Form and sustain ongoing relationships with institutional investors (Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds etc.) and intermediaries.
  • Handle multichannel communication with stakeholders which includes but is not limited to inbound, outbound, email, etc., in order to effectively explain information during specific campaigns (i.e. AGM/EGM, M&A, etc.)
  • Collect and validating data from various types of company disclosure documents on executive compensation, corporate governance, and E&S topics;
  • Actively participate in preparing client reports;
  • Assist Vice Presidents, Project/Account Managers and other team members on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are completed on a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactive contribution in further development of deliverables layouts and structures

Profile:

  • Graduate (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law or related fields;

The HR Graduate will provide quality HR support to the HR team in the following activities:

Employee Lifecycle

Process HR and payroll related transactions within the agreed SLA delivery timescales, in particular:
Leavers and transfers

The Procurement Team has the responsibility for managing and overseeing all third party spend for both direct and indirect materials and services for Kerry. They are experts in their respective categories of packaging, meats, dairy, ingredients and indirect materials and services such as energy, engineering and facilities management.

What are you going to do?

  • To conduct relevant activities as agreed in personal training plan with the aim of increasing knowledge and competency in the execution of survey and other related work;
  • To assist manager in producing deliverables against defined specifications and scope that will include budget constraints and contractual requirements;
  • To understand all LR services and be able to discuss and present the deliverable with the internal clients initially, and later external clients, and be able to suggest solutions where appropriate;
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards;
  • To appreciate the time and value of the work to be undertaken for an external client by understanding and assisting with survey fee calculations and quotations;
  • To assist in service delivery improvement by communicating internal / external client feedback as appropriate;
  • Undertake routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures;
  • To produce reports, certificates and documents to an agreed format and within agreed timescales;

What do we ask from you?

  • A degree or equivalent (BEng with MSc or MEng) from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register and the Engineering Council in the relevant field of engineering;
  • Membership of an appropriate professional institution;
  • Working towards or achieving chartered engineering status;
  • To work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01;
  • Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work;
