Vodafone Discover Program @ Information Technology
Vodafone Discover Program is a journey for talented graduates that immediately expect a permanent contract. The program includes a 4-month cross-functional path, divided into 2 assignments:
- During the 1st month you will explore our customer touchpoints and digital channels, to better understand the digital market and our company culture;
- The next 3 months will allow you to collaborate with a different team within IT area. This cross-functional experience will give you the chance to challenge yourself, grow your skillset and develop a broader view of the field of your interest.
After this experience you will be Ready to start your career path in your team!
What to expect
As Discover IT you will be part of our Digital Tribes, working multi-disciplinarily with coders, designers and analysts to create prototypes, design and build modules and solutions in an iterative agile cycles. You will deliver great quality software into services in order to guarantee a great experience to our customers around the world.
You will have the chance to join our Artificial Intelligence team, or dealing with Robotic Process Automation topics; you will help design & deploy our MyVodafone App or contribute in the development of TOBi – our digital assistant.
As we move more towards becoming a fully digital company, software engineering is becoming a critical skill in driving us forwards, whether we are buying in quality solutions, building our own unique customer journeys or inventing the future of communications.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for tech-addicted passionate, someone who embrace new technologies and are continuously learning.
To join our Discover Graduate Program you must have recently graduated in Informatics or Computer Engineer and have collected a previous experience in another company within 1 year. You will also have to demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance
- Intellectual curiosity and hunger for development
- Entrepreneurship, digital attitude, passion for technology
- Lateral thinking skills and analytic mind-set
- Proficiency in English is a must

What to expect
As Discover Big Data you will test yourself on data analytics issue, customer insights and creation of use cases. Using complex predictive models and heterogeneous datasets, you will be able to read current trends and help develop tomorrow’s strategies for our Consumer and Enterprise customers. You will work in an international and heterogeneous team of Big Data Experts, who will help you improve your skillset and discover the latest technologies.
Who are we looking for?
To apply, you must have recently graduated in Computer Engineer or comparable Engineer sector and have collected a previous experience in another company within 1 year. You will also have to demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance

Il Vodafone Discover Program è un programma per talenti che prevede da subito l’assunzione a tempo indeterminato. Il programma comprende un percorso di 5 mesi, suddiviso in 2 assignment per prepararti al meglio alla posizione che ricoprirai.
Il percorso Finance ti darà la possibilità di metterti alla prova sui temi di corporate finance in tuti i suoi aspetti: Financial planning & controlling, management accounting e business intelligence. Sarai punto di riferimento per tutti i dipartimenti nella definizione dei business case, analisi di redditività e fattibilità finanziaria dei progetti aziendali.

Il Primo Assignment rappresenta uno dei valori piu’ importanti di Vodafone: la Customer Obsession. In qualunque area tu voglia lavorare, infatti, il cliente deve essere sempre al centro. L’Assignement sarà quindi dedicato alla customer experience e a conoscere tutti i touchpoints con i nostri clienti. Avrai quindi la possibilità di conoscere dal punto di vista strategico e pratico il canale retail, il competence center e il digital, imparando a conoscere i clienti sia Consumer sia Enterprise.

Il Secondo Assignment sarà all’interno dell’area per la quale sei stato assunto ma in team differente. Questo ti permetterà di conoscere un team diverso da quello in cui andrai al termine del percorso in modo da acquisire nuove competenze.
