Technology Pre-Sales Consultant – Italian Speakers (based in Malaga, Spain)

The job as a technology Pre-Sales consultant is challenging and diverse and you will be working in a multinational environment in our EMEA Sales Consulting Centers (SCC) in the vibrant city of Malaga.

Frequent possibilities to support opportunities in various industries and countries will give you an excellent insight into customer business needs and market trends. You will support the Technology Presales organization for Western Europe and be trained in the Oracle Middleware product portfolio as well as the Presales role.

What you will be doing:

• Become the internal Oracle expert for a designated product set within the Technology Product portfolio.
• Providing technical expertise at the cutting edge Oracle Cloud Platform product portfolio
• Supporting the Sales organization in standard Presales activities such as but not limited to

• Providing responses to Requests for Information/Proposals
• Preparing solution demonstrations by translating our customer´s business needs into Oracle solutions
• Preparing presentations in the area of expertise.

• Design & build proof of concept solutions and developer workshops that demonstrate enterprise capabilities in the Oracle Platform cloud
• Keep up to date regarding the latest technologies and solutions from both Oracle and its competitors.
• Working with the virtual Technology Pre-Sales teams across the European organization

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Computer Science combined with Commercial/Business knowledge
• Excellent development skills – Experience with Java/J2EE/XML/CSS/JavaScript/HTML
• Strong understanding of one or more of the following areas:
  • Full lifecycle of software development, DevOps tools
  • Exposure to Mobile development frameworks, UI Designing and Scripting
  • Cloud Technologies, preferably PaaS
  • Integration technologies
• Strong communication skills. Remote presentations skills will be an advantage
• Experience using or managing Windows, Linux or Unix operating systems. Linux experience is a strong plus.
• Eagerness to learn! Oracle has an incredibly broad (and growing) portfolio of industry leading products. If you find it interesting and fun to pick up a new product and master these in a very short timeframe, this is the place to be!
• Fluency in English and Italian required
