Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Real Estate Financing

The Team of Real Estate Finance is in charge of providing the full range of real estate financing solutions for institutional clients (i.e mainly supporting Commercial RE acquisitions, including origination, structuring and execution in addition to relevant management of the portfolio of participation).

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Real Estate Finance and in coordination with team members, the analyst will be involved in the following:

  • Deal origination/execution
    • Review of due diligence reports/ business and financial analysis
    • Financial modelling
    • Support in preparing credit applications
    • Coordination of other internal teams (back-office, agency, other functions) and banks/external advisors
    • Assisting in marketing/deal presentation to clients (pitching)
    • Working on KYC internal procedure
  • Portfolio management
    • Monitoring of portfolio assets and preparation of annual reviews/ad hoc reviews and other periodical internal reports on existing deals
    • Assessment and processing of waiver requests / restructurings of selected files
    • Coordination of other internal teams (back-office, agency, other functions) and banks/external advisors
  • Others
    • Assisting in budget and forecast preparation
    • Participation to management of credit controls and monitoring tools

What we expect from you

  • Education: Master degree in Economics; Master degree in Management Engineering (Specialization in Finance)
  • Behavioral skills: Accuracy, teamwork and analytical approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; strong interpersonal
  • Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken); Credit Risk and Financial analysis; Accounting and Structure Financing products. Presentation skills. 1 -2 years of work

Contract type and Remuneration

The offer will be a full time open ended contract and the relative remuneration will be consistent with the National Banking Contract.

Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Real Estate Financing

The Real Estate Finance team is responsible for the origination, structuring, execution and portfolio management of Real Estate financings, (i.e mainly supporting acquisition of real estate assets or portfolios of assets, and relevant management of the participation).

Primary Responsibilities

In the Rome office, the intern will provide its support mainly in Portfolio Management (back office) activity but will also be involved to support Origination activity in conjunction with assigned/responsible professionals.

Depending on the new transactions and portfolio deals, workload and intern progression will includes the following tasks:

  • Contribution to existing deals management and related risk monitoring:
    • Monitoring of portfolio assets and assisting in preparation of annual/ad hoc reviews and periodical internal reports
    • Follow up all information undertakings also in coordination with the client;
    • Participation to management of credit controls and risk monitoring tools including coordination with relevant functions
  • Contribution to new deal origination/execution:
    • Working on KYC internal procedure
    • Elaboration of financial analysis (including financial modelling);
    • Assisting in credit paper preparation;
    • Assisting team members in selected deal execution phases;
  • Contribution to budget and forecast preparation

What we expect from you

Contract type and Remuneration

The offer will be a full time 6-months internship and it’s dedicated to all students or recent graduates (twelve or less months after graduation).

La struttura si occupa di attività operative relative alla chiusura delle operazioni per i Sales di BNL, della strutturazione delle soluzioni di copertura ad hoc su cambi e tassi e, infine, dell’interazione con i vari desk del monto BNP Paribas e di BNL (trading, legal, compliance, etc.) per diverse problematiche.

Per la sede di Roma, si offre uno stage nel Middle Office ALM & Treasury dove la persona, sotto la supervisione del responsabile del team, svolgerà attività inquadrabili nelle sottoelencate categorie:

  • supporto ai colleghi del team nella redazione di Termsheets e Schede Prodotto;
  • Redazione dei KID su derivati di cambi e tassi;
  • Supportare l’implementazione di Mifid II seguendo gli aggiornamenti dei vari cantieri;
  • Supportare nelle quotazioni indicative i sales BNL;
  • Supportare i sales BNL nella redazione di presentazioni e fornire aggiornamenti di mercato alla rete;

Requisiti minimi per partecipare alle selezioni

  • Formazione: Laureandi o laureati di II livello in Economia, con specializzazione in
  • Competenze comportamentali: precisione, team work, capacità logiche e
  • Competenze tecniche: ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese; la conoscenza della lingua francese rappresenta un plus; ottima conoscenza del pacchetto

Durata e retribuzione

Il contratto di stage ha una durata di 6 mesi ed è attivabile entro 12 mesi dal conseguimento dell’ultimo titolo di studio.

È previsto un rimborso spese mensile.
