A mid-level Project Manager is required to join the Project & Development Services Department in Italy, within the company’s office in Rome. The team is delivering a range of services like Interior fit-out Project Management, New Development Management, and Technical Advisory, and is offering a great career opportunity to young talented candidates with excellent knowledge of English

Duties

  • Manage current clients/projects in Rome
  • Provide occupier project management for fitting out of office, hotel and retail spaces
  • Provide technical advisory for Feasibility Studies
  • Provide project monitoring
  • Project manage multi-site projects
  • Manage all aspects of the client relationship
  • Cross sell with other departments of Jones Lang LaSalle Italy

Requirements

  • Must be educated to degree standard in Engineering and/or Architecture
  • Must have 2/3 years’ experience in similar positions
  • Proven project management track record and skills
  • International experience is required
  • Software knowledge (Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of specific project management and design software tools like MS project and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, numerical and verbal reasoning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum Level C1)
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Outstanding organisation skills and ability to multi-task
  • Planning and budgeting skills

The critical competencies of the position are the following:

  • Project management and technical competency, as shown by:

Familiarity and track record of delivering a range of services linked to design, construction of new buildings

Excellent organisation skills demonstrated by his/her ability to implement effective organisation procedures and to co-ordinate activities of various teams and subcontractors

Ability to manage projects and simultaneously support the Client as well as collaborate effectively with external parties such as architects, engineers, consultants, service providers, suppliers, etc.

  • Accountability and Result Orientation, as demonstrated by:

Track record of achieving business objectives even under strong time pressure or adverse market conditions

Strong result orientation and ability to work to deadlines at the appropriate quality level as expected by the Client as well as at JLL standards of operations

Clear focus and goal orientation

Drive, initiative and persistence and commitment to achieving operational results

  • Client management as demonstrated by:

Success and commitment in developing outstanding Client relations

Ability to address Client concerns in a professional and timely fashion but also recognised by the Client as a key person whose assistance, knowledge and experience are indispensable for the success of a project

Sensitivity to Client needs and openness in fostering an atmosphere of open discussion while retaining an overall project perspective in terms of objectives, deadlines, commitments etc.
