As a Junior Consulting Engineer, you’ll get to do the following:

  • Working with our customer’s engineering teams, you’ll contribute to all phases of their Neo4j implementation, from inception to roll-out, in collaboration with other Neo4j team members.
  • Act as the Technical Subject Matter expert for short to long-term consulting engagements where you’ll work hands on with the Neo4j products, provide expert advice and guidance, train and educate, and help prepare deployments for production roll-out.
  • Design and build (prototype of full blown) solutions that match Customer requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong background/education in database technologies and data modeling concepts
  • Background/education in (Applied) Graph Theory
  • Knowledgeable in the Java ecosystem, Python, other programming languages
  • Experience with complex data analysis and passionate about solving technical data problems
  • Experience working in an agile environment and devops experience
  • Comfortable working in a consultative/advisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Comfortable with learning new technologies and development languages as needed
  • Great listening skills and attention to detail
  • Cum Laude Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (or similar field)

Major responsibilities:

Responsabilities:

  • Consult with other team members to identify,
  • Clarify and resolve complex issues critical to clients’ strategic and operating success by conducting interviews,
  • Gathering required data,
  • Executing analyses,
  • Testing quality of data and reconciling data across sources,
  • Presenting facts and evidence in meetings and serving as an effective support resource to team in client meetings;
  • Interpret results from project components and translate these findings into clear,
  • Compelling, and pragmatic recommendations and solutions;
  • Plan, manage, and structure small work streams, as well as support execution of client projects, while working with other team members, and securing delivery of high quality team output

Requirements:

Bachelor and Master degree in Economics, Engineering or Science with 105/110 or above, English C1/C2, international experience

Skills:

Specific competences

Competent user of Microsoft Office (especially ppt and excel);

Fluency in English is mandatory; working knowledge of French, German or Spanish is considered  as an advantage

Soft skills

Highly analytical; Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Ability to work as part of a team in solving challenging problems and communicating results; Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines; Demonstrates initiative and result orientation; Strong motivation and passion for Management Consulting; Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic international environment with accelerated career opportunities.
