JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLER – INTERNSHIP

The role, reporting to the Thermic Comfort Division Industrial Controlling Manager, will be responsible for the following activities:

• Manage the Plant budget, forecast and outlooks;
• Month-end closing and variances analysis (Purchase Price Variances, Labour price and efficiency variances, Indirect costs, Technical modifications)
• Ensure product cost control, raw material stock control and provision analysis
• Ensure goods in transit control and investments control together with pay back analysis
• Prepare expense report, analysis and review
• Participate at internal and external audits
• Prepare WCM Cost Deployment
• Support Plant Manager and Technical Director on decision making: make or buy, cost analysis on alternative, etc.
• Ensure the correct application of procedures and timing respect

The ideal candidate is graduate in Economics or Management Engineering with an excellent academic path preferably in an international environment.

A previous internship or one year experience in a similar role, the knowledge of SAP and the proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Organization and planning skills, team working, communication and results orientation complete the profile.

An excellent English knowledge and availability to travel are basic requirement.

Scope of the role:

Perform the operational planning (Master Production Schedule) of the defined Ariston Thermo factories at Finished Goods and Accessories level to ensure material availability for the end customer, as part of the global S&OP process. The planning horizon is from the operational planning, respecting the defined frozen weeks, until the tactical planning, considering a 6 months’ time period.

Key responsabilities & accountabilities:

Managing the production planning  for Finished Goods and Accessories at:

• Rough cut capacity planning, set up of the monthly volume
• Weekly planning on item level
• Definition of the external purchasing (S&OP process) and execution of purchasing

Support and contribute:                        

• Sales and Operational Planning Process
• Follow-up of defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Product phase in & phase out

Interface to cross function within Supply Chain Organization

The ideal candidate has a degree in Management/Mechanical Engineering or equal and a brilliant academic career.

Analysis and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem solving and flexibility complete the profile.

English knowledge and good proficiency in the main MSOffice tools are basic requirements.

Knowledge of SAP R3 and SQL basis is a plus.

The role, within the Osimo Plant Organization, will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the following activities:

• participate in the definition of technologies, machines and processes for wall hung and floor standing gas boilers
• plants/machines design to optimize their Life Cycle Cost and performances (specs and requirements definition to actively support suppliers)
• support the continuous improvement activities and the new products development process
• evaluate the Engineering Change Notes from R&D dpt in order to define the application in production
• Environment Pillar Leadership in WCM program

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering and has good knowledge of drawing software as Cadra/Solidworks or 2D/3D technical design. The knowledge of industrial processes, Lean Manufacturing and Project Management are a plus.
