For our Italian Plant in Ferentino (FR)  we are looking for a Trainee in Health and Safety Area.

Internship’s aims:

Through integration into our Health, safety, security & environment department  the trainee will be leaded to acquisition and implementation of strategic and operative tools, experimenting both soft and hard skills proper of the specific area.

Main Responsibilities:

Firstly by observation activities and secondly through active and proactive support, the trainee will be able to achieve growing autonomy in on-going processes, practices and activities.

Activities:

  • Involvement and support into the following activities:
  • Organize and supervise ordinary and extra-ordinary maintenance operations
  • Contact with plant and maintenance external companies
  • Maintenance and improvement of actual HSSE data base.
  • Reinforcement of theoretical knowledge and its practical application, supporting HSEE team
  • Comprehension of processes and dynamics proper of an automotive company
  • Personal contribute on procedures improvement, acquisition and respect of the existing procedures.

Audit activities

Proper application of the actual laws regarding work places safety and the management of all the processes which aim to ensure environmental protection.

Reporting activities

  • Excellent skills in analysis and planning, proactive behavior, problem solving, international mindset,  communication, results orientation, flexibility
  • Excellent  knowledge of English language, in oral and written production both.
  • Advanced User in MS Office (Excel)
  • Good skills in relating and team working.

Internship: 6 months starting from July;

Gross monthly reimbursement: 800 euros + canteen

Main activities:

We are looking for an ENGINEER for the design maintenance and technical assistance of an assigned engineered product(s).

The main responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product changes for quality, performance, production improvements and cost reductions;
  • Coordinate changes to bills of materials, parts documentation and specifications, phantom files and routings to support domestic and international product manufacturing;
  • Provide technical assistance to Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Repair, Quality and Technical Sales Support departments;
  • Provide technical assistance to customer order design for the design of special modifications of the assigned engineered product(s);
  • Maintain certification to applicable industry standards for assigned engineered product(s);

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Physics MA Degree or Other Engineers with strong competences in Optical

EXPERIENCES:

  • 1-2 years in R&D, or Product Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering on an Industrial Laser company or equivalent;
  • 1-2 years in R&D of Lasers or Laser systems;
  • 1-2 years of experience with DPSS Lasers and/or laser material processing systems.

SPECIFIC KNWOLEDGE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

We are looking for a R&D COMPUTER VISION / Benchmark and Robot Guidance.

Software developer knowledge on Machine Vision 2D Applications and Robot Guidance Machine Vision players’ products in order to:

  • Increase our internal competence on the MV solutions and the competitive offer on our reference Markets;
  • Benchmark and enhance the performances of MV products;
  • Improve the integration of our products inside the Industry 4.0 factories especially for robot guidance applications;
  • Contribute to the creation of smart, interconnected devices for Industrial Automation able to protect, identify, track, sense, check and mark with the highest quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Computer Engineering (MA Degree)

EXPERIENCES: Previous experience in the development 2D inspections and Robot Guidance applications based on open Source/commercial suites for machine vision.

SPECIFIC KNWOLEDGE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

  • Proposes tools and solutions to increase efficiency, effectiveness and overall performances;
  • Eager to learn new competencies, capabilities and knowledge;

The JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER is part of an agile development team building and working on an embedded enterprise software architecture/framework. The Junior Software Engineer is involved in all areas of development from design to development to integration testing.

Duties and Responsibilities are:

  • Reporting to the R&D SW Engineering Manager for the Automation Products;
  • Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain embedded applications built on a real time and multi-tasking environment (mainly Linux);
  • Designing of architectural and component software features, design and implementation of system design;
  • Assisting in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, and estimates;
  • Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software;
  • Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code;
  • Package and support deployment of releases following internal application lifecycle management guidelines;

We are looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER who will work in Datalogic Labs Products.

He/she will be in charge of:

  • Design of mechanical and opto-mechanical parts;
  • Perform tolerance analysis, interact with suppliers of custom mechanical components to ensure manufacturability of the part;
  • Create technical documentation related to design specifications including implementation details;
  • Flexibility is essential as specifications may not be fully defined at the start of development;
  • Contribute to the definition of assembly steps for complex opto-mechanical systems.
  • Documentation of design specifications and implementation details;
  • Execute design reviews;
  • Upholding of design standards and methodologies;
  • Collaboration with other team members (including optical and hardware engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces, etc.;
  • Provide support for the sustaining activities of existing products during product lifecycle;
  • Development of appropriate test and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of developed parts/system.

We are looking for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER who will work in R&D DL LABS department which develops platforms to create other products. He/she will follow design complex system in one or more technical disciplines by:

  • Defining the system requirements;
  • Splitting a complex design into simplest tasks;
  • Evaluating and providing recommendations on the project efforts;
  • Designing the test plan and adopted procedure;
  • Ensuring feasible design of the subsystems in his/her scope of responsibility;
  • Interfacing with external R&D suppliers/contractor by setting the expectations and ensuring on time and on cost the delivery against the specifications;
  • Developing relationship with Academic world and being an active member of technical community;
  • Coordinating the benchmarking activity on competitors’ products to assess the state of the art about technologies adopted.

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCES: experience in embedded SW design and in Embedded Linux is a plus.
