Internship’s aims:

Through integration into our Health, safety, security & environment department  the trainee will be leaded to acquisition and implementation of strategic and operative tools, experimenting both soft and hard skills proper of the specific area.

Main Responsibilities:

Firstly by observation activities and secondly through active and proactive support, the trainee will be able to achieve growing autonomy in on-going processes, practices and activities.

Activities:

Involvement and support into the following activities:

• Organize and supervise ordinary and extra-ordinary maintenance operations
• Contact with plant and maintenance external companies
• Maintenance and improvement of actual HSSE data base.
• Reinforcement of theoretical knowledge and its practical application, supporting HSEE team
• Comprehension of processes and dynamics proper of an automotive company
• Personal contribute on procedures improvement, acquisition and respect of the existing procedures.
• Audit activities
• Proper application of the actual laws regarding work places safety and the management of all the processes which aim to ensure environmental protection.
• Reporting activities

Competencies:

• Excellent skills in analysis and planning, international mindset, Team player, Result Oriented and proactive attitude, Agility,  Adaptability, Interpersonal Skills.
• English advanced knowledge
• MS Office user (Excel advanced knowledge).

MISSION

This internship is aiming to give the opportunity to have an experience in purchasing area in the automotive industry as well as get in touch with supplier Integration into Projects, ensuring of segment strategies compliance along sourcing process.

Support the procurement team in the following activities:

• Participation to Project Meeting and and award
• Preparation of Sourcing Plan to define commitments and conditions
• Identification of Critical Parts in the process and assessment of preselected risk impacts on the project related to Development or Production capacity, Technical or Quality capability, financial sustainability
• Assess pre-selected suppliers risk impacts on the project related to Development or Production capacity, Technical or Quality capability, financial sustainability.
• Commodity organisation to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions and meet project targets.
• Communication between project teams and suppliers. Ensures all necessary documentation

Competencies

• Engineering Degree or Economics
• MS Office user (Excel advanced)
• SAP user could be a plus
• English fluent , French knowledge could be a plus
• Result orientation, Interpersonal Skills, International Mindset,
• Problem solving: 1) Able to communicate with suppliers about eventual discrepancies relating products, prices, delivery schedules among other things. 2) Communication with departmental heads regarding eventual issues or projects
