Brief description of the position

As a Project Manager you will be working as liaison between the IT and the Business in main banking players. You will have the chance to follow different finance-related projects end to end, from the business requirements up to the final deploy and delivery.

Main Tasks

Customer relationships and Business Development
Collect and analyze the business requirements
Coordinate and organize meetings for the overall project governance
Manage and coordinate all the activities along the entire project cycle
Be accountable for the projects with the different bank’s stakeholders

Analytical and Technical Requirements

Be proactive and very detail-oriented
Problem-solving attitude
Be able to perform well under pressure and to meet deadlines
Experience in managing a team
Previous experience in project management is a prerequisite for senior candidates
Knowledge of the Risk Management framework and processes within the Systemically Important Financial Institutions (SIFIs)
Knowledge of banking systems and IT processes usually involved in Risk Management framework (data governance, model governance, reporting)

As a developer you may be required to work with important customers, in their office with their team to build strategic tools.

Business Data analyst responsibilities imply conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities and they will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Main Tasks

Interpret financial data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports to managers and business units

Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing IT reports, printouts, and KPIs to locate and correct code problems

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Analytical and Technical Requirements

Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or Engineering
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst is a must for senior profiles
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, STATA)
