Your role in this journey

  • Be the main contact person far our ltalian partners, who want to list their vacation rentals via our platform, and advise them how to use our product
  • Support partners in all booking-related processes
  • Coordinate the going live of vacation rentals on our platfarm
  • Ensure and continuously improve a high level of customer oriented service
  • lnteract with our product and content team as well as external partners to enhance integrations and ensure smooth processes

Your backpack is filled with

  • University degree in economics, tourism or other applicable fields
  • 1-2 years of relevant job experience in account management or other customer-oriented roles
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain friendly and calm in all situations
  • Native ltalian and a high proficiency in English (both written and arai)
  • A customer-centric, problem-solving attitude
  • Excitement about new technologies and the travel industry

Your role in this journey

In our office in Munich you w ill be responsible for the entire sales process, from prospecting new partners to ensuring properties are published online in a timely manner. Your objective will be to
acquire new partners and make sure they are happy users.

This entails:

  • Identifying and qualifying new leads
  • Managing the whole sales process from start to finish
  • Being rigorous in activity tracking and reporting activities
  • Maintaining clear channels of communication with the rest of the team

Your backpack is filled with

  • A bachelor degree in management, economics, engineering, or related fields
  • Italian on native level and fluent English
  • A “seller” personality: charismatic, positive, and a high tolerance for frustration while feeling comfortable both on the phone (cold calling) and face to face
  • The ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  • A solution- driven attitude and the ability to work in a structured and organized way
  • Preferred but not mandatory experience: sales, account management, travel industry, online business, and/or startups
  • Driver’s license

Amazon opened its virtual doors in 1995 and strives to be the world’s most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online.

Amazon currently seeks talented, Italian speaking New Account Manager based in Milan to support the expansion of the international seller business on the European Amazon websites. You will join as a New Account Manager recruiting and launching successful sellers on Amazon’s third party marketplace, a B2B business where retailers sell their products to Amazon customers.

The objective of the New Account Manager is to prospect, qualify high potential Italian merchants that deliver competitive selection, pricing, and availability. In addition to recruiting merchants you will help them launch on Amazon’s marketplace by ensuring that they master catalogue, pricing and other tools.

Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will be required to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and launch strategic retailers to sell on Amazon’s European marketplaces
  • Define and improve strategies for recruiting new sellers
  • Set up sellers for success, delivering new business growth

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 2 years’ experience
  • Fluency in Italian and English. Additional competency in Spanish, French, or German is advantageous though not essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Engineering or related degree required
  • Demonstrated track record of success in account management, product marketing or management consulting roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply
  • Interested in new technologies, capable internet user
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
  • Experience solving analytical problems, either in professional experience (data analysis) or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outbound sales would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Experience with e-commerce or retail would be an advantage
