UNILEVER Assistant Brand Manager Svelto – Job Type: Permanent

Home Care category is worth about €300m value sales. Unilever competes in 4 categories with 4 different brands such as: Svelto (HDW + MDW); Cif, Lysoform (Household Cleaning) and Coccolino (Fabric Softeners).
Svelto is the biggest brand, leader in HDW (Hand Dishwash), just entered this year the MDW (Machine Dishwash market) with a full range of products.
The Svelto Assistant Brand Manager is responsible to help the BM to achieve both categories growth target by deploying innovation and communication events,
Below The Line activities, artworks.
He/She needs to quickly analyze market dynamics and trends, define key issues & opportunities affecting brand performances both in terms of MS (Market Share) and Sell-In.

Main accountabilities: 

  • Monitoring of the in market performances (e.g. Volume MS, Value MS, distribution, volume on deal, cut price, average n° of SKU’s – Stock Keeping Units)
  • Deployment of Global/Regional/local innovations. Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery of both innovation and communication packs
  • Adaptation of all the global/regional communication assets, such as TV advertising, print, radio, key visuals
  • Liaison with Brand Development team to address local issues, exploit opportunities and fine tune global/regional executions
  • Liaison with the Category Management and Customer Marketing for the execution of national or customized activities
  • Management of all administrative tasks (e.g. data entry)
