High Jewellery Logistics Distribution & Invoicing Internship

Within the High Jewellery Supply Chain Department based in Rome, Bulgari is looking for a High Jewellery Logistics Distribution & Invoicing Internship (6 months). The candidate will support the team in following main activities:

  • Perform national/international shipments in consignment for High Jewellery items producing, verifying and updating the documentation required and coordinating logistic movements of items in consignment to support worldwide Bulgari events.
  • Provide Support to the distribution network and to the store, addressing and closing all local requests.
  • Fill in proper documentation (Carnet Ata, pro-forma and DDT) and follow-up on its renewal, track and archive all relevant administrative/transportation documents.
  • Monitor the High Jewellery consignment status and ensure documents update.
  • Support in performing periodic reconciliations of Bulgari goods at external parties and with other Bulgari Companies.
  • Analyze transportation costs.
  • Support in analyzing existing process, proposing improvements.

Bulgari Gioielli is offering an internship opportunity within the High Jewellery Logistic Department based in Rome.
The intern will support the logistics activities/processes for Finished Products, ensuring efficient and proper material handling, document completeness and correct registrations in the systems,
according to Company F&A and Logistics procedures.
Main accountabilities
• Preparing the necessary shipping documentation (e.g. CITES) and technical data sheets
• Support the manager on handling external relations with the customs, clients, shipping agents, Ministries etc. respecting import/export rules
• Support the performing product receiving (Finished Products, consignment, buyback/return, Quality Control)
• Verify conformity of received products and documentation to import/export norms
• Ensure the constant updating of the system and follow up discrepancies physical/documents with sender
• Maintain inventory control records
• Support all activities (picking, packing and good issue) regarding national/international shipments based on open deliveries.
• Support the logistic team on on-going special projects

Profilo ricercato
Technical Competencies
• Newly Graduated in Economics or Engineering – an experience abroad is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, the knowledge of ERP/SAP will be
considered a plus

Job Description

Bulgari is looking for a High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie Business Analyst (Temporary contract – Maternity Replacement).
The position, based in Rome, will be part of the Corporate Sales High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie Operation Support Department.

Main Activities

  • Support the High End Jewelry product assortment and allocation within Worldwide Bulgari network according to events calendar, store replenishment and spot requests for client submissions.
  • Run weekly report on High Jewelry stock.
  • Manage administrative activities related to the High End Department Budget, by following the whole process from supplier masterdata opening till final invoice.
  • Manage the Budget expense report and, with cost control consciousness, advice the Team on expenses limits/allowance.
  • Deliver ad hoc Power Point presentations (for new product launches and product briefings for Grand Vendeurs).
  • Support the Team for the commercial event preparation by liaising with the event team ensuring a smooth organization.

Accountant Internship

Mission

Collaborating in the Management of the book-keeping operations according to the Corporate Accounting Principles and to the local legal and fiscal requirements, to ensure smooth & accurate financial processes.

Main Accountabilities

  • Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (full cycle: book A/P invoices), generation A/R invoices, process, and post A/P payments and A/R receipts.
  • Ensure periodic fiscal activities (V.A.T., withholding tax, Intrastat, Income TAX).
  • Prepare and book treasury transactions on a timely basis and ensure accuracy prior to passing to the Finance & Control Manager for approval. Manage treasury transactions related to the settlement of receipts, payments, investments and borrowing.
  • Support the monthly Inter-Company reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and profit and loss.
