Bridgestone, in collaborazione con Alitur è lieta di presentare il primo Tire Research Workshop che si svolgerà presso l’Univeristà degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata” nell’edificio della Didattica di Ingegneria il 18 giugno a partire dalle ore 9.00.

L’evento è volto a consolidare ed incentivare le attività di collaborazione tra il Centro Tecnico EMEA di Bridgestone e l’Università, nell’ambito di aree tematiche di comune interesse che potranno essere oggetto di tesi di laurea triennali, magistrali e di dottorato.

Nella prima parte del Workshop verrà introdotto il “mondo dello pneumatico” con un focus sui principali filoni di sviluppo tecnologico di cui il Centro Tecnico EMEA di Bridgestone si occupa, per poter affrontare le crescenti sfide del futuro.

Nella seconda parte del Workshop, la divisione in 4 sessioni parallele (Tecnologia dei Materiali, Ingegneria, Laboratori e Test, Digitalizzazione) consentirà una discussione più diretta e aperta con docenti e studenti per approfondire tematiche tecniche su cui sarà possibile incentrare le attività di collaborazione tramite lavori di tesi.

JUNIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Purpose

Through continuous activity, improve processes to increase efficiency and optimize costs and develop new process technology in tire production. After orientation and training, performs assignments of specific engineering tasks, contributing to a specific phase of larger projects in manufacturing area. Emphasis is on document preparation, data analysis, reporting activity, drawing preparation, active participation on continuous improvement activity in Plant.

Job Description

Main Accountabilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks, planned to provide experience/familiarization with Technical Center Europe and European Plants, the methods, practices, programs
  • Collects and evaluates data, develops plans for improvement activity in Plant
  • Develop enough autonomy to manage assigned tasks by himself/herself
  • Suggest straightforward solutions to problems using readily available, clear and direct references

  • Bridgestone Corporate Functions
  • EMEA Manufacturing plants

Technical skills

  • University Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Job Purpose

To develop Consumer and Commercial Original Equipment tires for both European and EMEA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management disciple and facing technical challenges in order to meet the future needs.

Job Description

Main Accountabilities

Contributes to the technical development of tires for delivery to both consumer and commercial markets by participating in technical teams.
Contributes to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analyzing of test results, and preparing technical documentation.
Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work.
Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
Provides his contribution to the preparation of Technical Meetings with the Customer.
