Introduction
The IBM Software Lab is looking for a technically gifted, innovative and enthusiastic Software Engineer that will work in a WW team environment focused on implementing capabilities into enterprise class IBM Cloud Platform microservices or components.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Design, coding and automation testing the application, focusing also on important aspects like performance, reliability and scalability.
- Working with other IBM SW Engineer team members to help define and implement features
- Being responsible for all aspects of delivery
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Requirements of this role include:
- working knowledge of cloud native application development using the most common design patterns
- knowledge of DB Management Systems
- knowledge of the following Web Development technologies: Webstorm, Node.JS
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
No-SQL Database

- Working with other IBM SW Engineer team members to help define and implement features
- Being responsible for all aspects of the security and compliance.

Requirements of this role include:
- knowledge of programming languages and scripting
- knowledge of IT administration
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- IT management certification
- Network Security
