The Aerospace and Defence Digital Factory, located in Rome, is looking for a Junior Software Engineer, who will be responsible for analysis and development of C++ / Java application.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the design, development and customization of applications and services
- Managing the integration and re-factoring of existing applications
- Developing unit and functional testing
- Documenting the activities performed
- Software analysis and design
Skills preferred for the position:
- Master/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Basic knowledge of software development
- Knowledge / experience using C, C++ and/or Java, J2EE languages
- Basic experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java/Swing or AngularJS
- Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL (Oracle, PosgreSQL, MySQL), Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux
- Good knowledge of English (written & spoken)
- Strong analytical thinking
- Team working attitude
- Collaborative and dynamic approach
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility in independently learning new technologies and languages
Job Type: Permanent full-time or apprenticeship contract
