The IBM Software Lab in Rome is looking for a technically gifted, innovative and enthusiastic Software Engineer for an internship program within a Development team in the area of IBM Security located in Rome. The selected candidate will work in a team environment together with other IBM SW Engineers and under the assistance of IBM tutors throughout the internship completion for a period of between 3 and 6 months.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Development of prototypes & Test Automation for IBM products using Rome Lab Methodology
- Working with IBM team members to help define and implement the required capabilities
- Being responsible for all aspects of the assigned tasks
Requirements of this role include:
- knowledge of front-end and back-end application development using the most common design patterns
- knowledge of most common DB Management Systems
- knowledge of obiect-oriented programming languages: Java (required), C++ (bonus)
- knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: REST API, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SCIM open standard, NoSQL databases,elastic search
Required
- Graduate or graduate student of a Software Engineering related discipline
- Fluent English
- Capability to work in a global, multicultural and diverse environment
